Elementary Teacher

Position Summary
The Elementary Teacher provides a safe, nurturing, Christ-centered learning environment where students grow spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.
This position partners with parents to deliver engaging instruction, foster a love of learning, and help students develop a biblical worldview that influences every aspect of life.
Responsibilities
- Support and uphold the school's Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct.
- Integrate biblical truth throughout daily instruction.
- Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with the school's curriculum.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages academic excellence and Christ-like character.
- Build strong relationships with students and maintain open communication with parents.
- Assess student progress and use data to guide instruction.
- Collaborate with fellow faculty members, administration, and families to support student success.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, chapel services, and school events.
Demonstrate professionalism, humility, servant leadership, and a commitment to continual growth.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and evidence of a growing Christian faith.
- A lifestyle consistent with the school's Statement of Faith and Christian values.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education or an ACSI Teaching Certificate (or the ability to obtain certification).
- Previous elementary teaching experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
- A passion for Christian education and discipleship.
