Pre-kindergarten Teaching Assistant needed
Wynnbrook is seeking an energetic assistant that can help with the following responsibilities.
This is a full-time position. The hours are from Monday through Friday 7:30-3:15.
- Maintaining a safe and supportive environment for young children
- Assisting teachers with carrying out lesson plans
- Handling basic hygiene needs such as handwashing
- Preparing children for and supervising them during nap time
- Serving lunch or healthy snacks
- Observing children for developmental problems and other concerns—and passing this information on to the preschool teacher
- Supporting teachers with preferred classroom management and discipline strategies.
